Supervised Open Fencing
Open to all Intermediate, Advanced, and Competitive members for Olympic Sport and Historical Swordsmanship. Supervised Open Fencing is a great opportunity for students to practice what they learn in class, refine their skills, and to meet other fencing enthusiasts. An assigned coach helps fencers get acquainted, gives tips on fencing techniques, helps direct bouts, and assists with any questions they may have. Members are not required to attend the entire session, and are encouraged to use the facility during regular hours as well.
Non VAF-Members who wish to participate should contact the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703 321 4922
